You say it's your birthday, October 2032

October brings with it the first birthday of the littlest Gottlieb, Michael!

So far, his temperament is similar to his daddy's and he even shares Wade's love of nature.

And Michael even has the distinctive Gottlieb nose!

Wade as a toddler...

...and Michael's mother, Amelia.

Notes:
  • Other than the Gottlieb nose, which no Gottlieb has ever escaped, Michael looks a lot like Amelia. Definitely the same eyes, which Sophie also has and Michael even inherited Amelia's mouth.
  • It feels like a long time since I've had a little Nature Sim. I remember being overrun with them, once upon a time!
  • And I just realised I forgot to do Michael's profile! Argh...I'm getting caught up with blogs at the moment but I will put his profile up later on today.

  1. Yay for little Michael. It will be interesting to see how he looks when he's older--I've always thought Amelia was so gorgeous. :)

  2. Rachel, I've always thought Amelia was very pretty as well, so I'm happy to have one of the kids inherit so many of her features. I wonder if he'll look anything like Amelia's brothers as he gets older.

    Thanks for reading. :)

  3. Michael is so cute! I bet he'd look like Amelia's brothers when he grows up (And hope so).

Nearly all of my sims are music & dance and I'm really tired of that so I set hobbies manually now. I use hobbies and aspirations to decide LTW's so I can't allow everyone to want to be ballet dancers or rock gods.

  4. What a little cutie!!!
It's still strange to see Sims toddlers, isn't it? They often look great when they're teens, but childhood and, above all, toddlerhood are pretty weird look-stage. I can't recognize Wade as toddler when I see him adult (bad syntax, but hopefully, you'll see what I meant! *lol*)
Anyway, that little Michael is adorable with his little smooth!

  5. Michael's such a cutie! I'm not a huge fan of the nose, but I'm sure he'll grow into it.
Since he's already a cute toddler I'm sure he will be a handsome man :)

  6. Flit, well, we'll see, I guess! Of her brothers, Amelia looks most like Caleb, so I'm guessing Michael might head in that sort of direction, looks-wise.

I actually often do the same thing with hobbies, except mine always end up as Sports or Fitness Sims. If it's already a hobby I don't have too many of, I leave it.

    Thanks for reading. :)

Sandy, LOL, I do understand what you mean but that's actually what I think about TS3 toddlers! I can never see any resemblance between TS3 Sims as toddlers and then as teens/adults. With TS2, I can do it easily! It must just be what we're both used to. ;)

    Thanks for reading. :)

Tanja, the nose is exactly the same as all the other Gottliebs, so yeah, he'll grow into it like they all did. Some features look a bit extreme on toddlers. :)

    Thanks for reading. :)

  7. Aww, Michael's a real cutie! Unlike Tanja, I like the Gottlieb nose, it looks good both on men and women.

  8. Sari, I really love Michael too. I am rather fond of the Gottlieb nose; I'm hoping at least one of Rose and Joanna's twins get it.

    Thanks for reading. :)

  9. Aww how adorable is he!?! I like that he got the sleepy eyes and looks mostly like mommy with daddy's personality. It's cool that the Gottlieb nose is still showing itself after so many generations. Same with the Kirby chin. I hope it sticks around, too. Sophie looks so adorable with that nose and I'm sure Michael will too.

  10. Danielle, I love those sleepy eyes as well. Only Caleb and Amelia inherited them from Filippo and they've both passed them on, so I'm happy (Veronica has them as well).

The Kirby chin is actually a Lachance feature, originally! It came from Leontine, Tate and Trent's mother. I'm not sure if she got it from her mother or father though.

    Thanks for reading. :)
